What makes our program unique?

We started our program with a simple goal - make sure there are horses and people who love them in 50 years. When we look around our local area we can see the impacts of family farms being sold, horses being misunderstood, and riding instruction that isn’t safe. We believe that if we ground our training in the following principles, we can continue the equestrian tradition for generations to come.

  • Dressage is the training of the horse. Any sound horse can benefit from training! We believe in applying the classical principles in an easy to understand way so that all types of horses and riders can enjoy the benefits.

  • Some trainers simply want to teach people or train their horses. At ALE we focus on helping riders develop the natural feel and intuition needed to help their equine partners be successful.

  • At ALE the focus extends beyond the arena to all areas of horse and human care. With a trainer, farrier, and equine massage therapist in house we are always thinking about the whole animal. For humans, we also bring in educated chiropractors and mindset clinicians.
